I want to copy my movies onto my external hardrive. I've been following the insturctions on Beginner's DVD Backup Guide with Video. But towards the end it says that it will burn it onto a disc. What do I need to change if I just want to save it on the external? Thank you for your help!

It will still be saved onto your hard drive, as long as you chose to save it to the appropiate location. It will be in the form of a ISO image file and with the appropiate media player you can play those as the regular movies. Im pretty sure that VLC Media Player is capable of playing ISO files, just google Download VLC Media PLayer install it and you should be all set.

I have been backing up the Dexter season 1 I purchased from Target. I had no trouble with the 1st three disks but I cannot backup disk 4. Disc 4 has special features but I am not sure if that is the problem. Decrypter seems to get stuck at 32% and then just keeps retrying. The files that is did save to backup I burned on to a DVD. The final episode did burn but I can only watch it on my computer. When I put it in my DVD player that is connected to my television it says it is an invalid disk. Does anyone have any suggestions?
